- Abstract
- Two lithographs depicting the lives of soldiers during the 1857-1858 uprising in India against the rule of the British East India Company. The upper image depicts three soliders, two in British dress and one in Indian dress, in a horse-drawn cart. The lower image depicts a scene at a military camp. In the center are three men in British dress: one seated, one standing, and one in uniform on horseback.
