Commillah, late the residence of John Buller, Esqr.
"No. 41"--Upper right.
- Abstract
- View of a large home on the bank of a body of water, possibly the Gomti River, in Comilla, Bangladesh. The home was occupied by John Buller, a British member of Parliament who lived in India for many years. In the foreground is a palanquin resting on the ground, inside of which is seated a figure in English dress. Six men, probably the bearers of the palanquin, are lounging or crouched on the ground. Two other men stand near the palanquin, one learning on it and the other holding a green parasol.
